Havas snaps up photo business

LONDON - Havas-owned digital ad agency Media Contacts has landed a six-figure account to handle the search and display advertising for online photo-processing service Photobox.

Launched in 2001, Photobox has attracted more than three million members worldwide.
The online service and its French sister company have the capacity to print more than one million photos daily in their London and Paris laboratories.

Media Contacts will play a key role in Havas' bid to offer integrated and creative services in the UK. In May, the network bought creative agency Archibald Ingall Stretton to boost its digital creative offering.
