Turning Point: Robert Price, Chief executive, Future UK
by Staff, Media Week 07-Oct-08, 11:00
My best career decision was ... Joining Future in 1999. Learning from the vastly opposing highs and lows I've experienced have shaped me and made me a stronger leader.
Few chief executives in their early 40s can say they've experienced such an eventful career with one employer. In my time, Future has grown through a management buyout, developed pioneering products and partnerships, and become the market leader in many of our sectors.

We've also experienced some hard times, such as the dotcom crash in 2001, and the need to restructure our business in order to survive. Future is in a fantastic position and I'm delighted I'm still at the helm. I'm glad I took my first position in marketing in the early 1990s, and then spent the decade building experience across as many sectors as I could.
