Samsung encourages consumers to create ads for Blue Earth mobile
LONDON - Samsung is inviting consumers in the UK to produce their own videos which could be used as Samsung Mobile's next TV commercial.
Samsung plans to promote its environmentally friendly touch phone Blue Earth with a viewer created ad found through online creative ideas company Current Media.
Consumers can upload their 30-second video to Current, which must mention the Blue Earth phone and inspire people to ‘Blue the Earth'.

Blue Earth uses recycled plastic and an energy efficient charger and solar powered charging panel on the phone.
Blue Earth comes with Eco mode, Eco Walk, Eco Calendar, and Eco Tips. The Eco Mode sets screen brightness, backlight duration and Bluetooth to an energy-efficient mode with just one click. The Eco Walk function allows users to count their steps with a built in pedometer and show the CO2 emission by walking instead of using a motor vehicle.
