Two firms hook up to launch Belfast lobby consultancy

The new agency will provide public affairs advice to existing clients of

Gordon Corporate Communications wanting political representation in

Belfast. These include the Countryside Alliance and veterinary

pharmaceuticals firm Norbrook Laboratories. It will also advise

Westminster Strategy clients and seek to develop new business.

Stormont Strategy will be headed by Gordon Corporate Communications

managing director and founder, Richard Gordon. He becomes the new

agency’s managing director alongside his existing responsibilities.

Gordon is actively seeking to recruit up to two people to work for

Stormont Strategy.

Gordon said: ’The 10 (assembly) departments will be able to make laws

affecting significant areas of business activities and people’s

lives.

It will be our job to make sure we know what is happening in government

and help our clients achieve their objectives.’
