According to Watson managing director Simon Small, the agency has been
appointed on a rolling contract leading up to Harley Davidson’s
centenary year in 2003.
Small, along with account manager Daniel Himsworth, will head the
account, reporting to Harley Davidson PR manager Jeremy Pick.
’Our brief is to undertake tailor-made campaigns for each of the 20
Harley Davidson dealers around the UK, and target consumers in each of
these areas,’ said Small.
Watson will roll out a national campaign up to and during Harley
Davidson’s 100th anniversary, and also handle PR for sister brand
Buell.
’We will also manage PR for Harley Davidson’s clothing and accessory
merchandise,’ said Small.
PR for a new model launch later this year, will also be handled by
Watson.
Relations with the motorcycle press continue to be handled in-house.
