Tesco has 24 retail stores in Thailand, but only two stores in South Korea. Its first store in Taiwan is due to open at the end of the year. Thailand is said to have fewer internet users than the other two countries, and Tesco has set up a trial website for Thai customers called Tesco Lotus.
