ITN Online hopes to tap into the sporting hysteria that will surround the Sydney Olympics for the next month, by launching a downloadable news ticker.
ITN Online hopes to tap into the sporting hysteria that will surround the Sydney Olympics for the next month, by launching a downloadable news ticker.
Accessible through the news agency's main web site (www.itn.co.uk), an Olympic channel will also provide news from Australia using audio and video reports from ITN's sports reporters. Information from the site will also be available on interactive TV platforms, handheld devices and WAP phones.

The service is in line with ITN's pledge to roll out a convergent news channel - a joint venture with ntl. The site will also host four interactive Olympic-themed games: the 100 metres, long jump, javelin and 110m hurdles
