BBC boosts business news coverage
LONDON - The BBC is launching a daily business programme called Business Today, on its digital TV news channel BBC News 24, in June.
The programme is an effort to ramp up the BBC's business coverage. The BBC's director general Greg Dyke has criticised the corporation's business coverage, and in November appointed Jeff Randall, former editor of Sunday Business, as its first business editor.
