ABC FIGURES BRIEFS: Emap Esprit's Yours records increase

Emap Esprit's Yours, which targets the over-60s grey market, recorded its 26th consecutive ABC increase. Yours is the sixth-biggest title in the women's glossy sector. Managing director Carrie Barker described it as Emap's "best-kept secret". She added that, despite recent predictions suggesting the over-50s will soon have 50% of the UK's total spending power, advertisers had been slow to react. Saga Magazine's one million-plus ABC increased by 10% year on year. However, most of that rise can be accounted for by bulks and discounted subscriptions.
