MEDIA BRIEF: Nielsen//NetRatings says web sites are suffering
Nielsen//NetRatings has revealed web sites that charge consumers to download music from the internet are suffering as a result of sites that enable free peer-to-peer file-sharing and online retailers. The figures reveal that the most popular file-sharing site, kazaa.com, attracted more than 1.3 million people in April. The next most-visited was cd-wow.com, an online CD delivery site, with 739,000 unique visitors.
