LONDON – Sky has launched a new 'Lara Croft: Tomb Raider' game on its digital games platform, Sky Gamestar.
'Tomb Raider: Episode 3: Armageddon' is the third chapter in the interactive TV 'Tomb Raider' series and has been launched exclusively to Sky Digital viewers in the UK and Ireland.
Sky Digital viewers take on the role of heroine Lara Croft as she embarks on the third and final stage of her adventures on Sky Gamestar. This time out, the relic hunter must find the mythical Eye of Osiris in order to save the world.

Armageddon takes off where episode two ended, with Lara finding the entrance to the eerie underworld crypt. Players get to guide Lara through 10 levels and on the way explore the caves and catacombs while defeating the army of evil ghouls.
This time around not only are players battling an army of undead creatures that lurk in the maze but they are also battling it out against the clock to complete the final level before the clock strikes midnight.
Sky Digital subscribers in the UK and Ireland can play 'Tomb Raider' on Sky Gamestar by pressing the red button on the Sky remote and selecting "games" when watching Sky channels.
Digital satellite viewers can use the Interactive button on the Sky remote and select Sky Gamestar from the interactive services menu. Tomb Raider fans can play using their Sky remote or Sky Gamepad. The game costs 75p for unlimited plays per session.
Tomb Raider is developed by UK games company Eidos, which has racked up games sales totalling more than 28m copies worldwide. The most recent outing for Lara was 'Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness', the appearance of which coincided with the launch of the movie starring Angelina Jolie -- 'Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life'.
