H&K and Reading Room join up in digital partnership
LONDON – Hill & Knowlton is to partner with the Reading Room in a deal that will see the digital agency join the WPP-owned roster of partner agencies.
Hill & Knowlton's specialist Netcoms team, which provides a hub of online communications expertise across the company, will manage the partnership for the PR firm.
Niall Cook, director of Netcoms, said: "They will help us continue to give our clients access to the best implementation expertise in the industry. This approach gives clients a low-risk, high-quality yet extremely cost-effective method of integrating the internet into their communications channel mix."

The partnership between the two has come about after two highly successful integrated online campaigns for existing H&K clients and, with online communication services on the increase, both parties are well placed for continuing growth.
Margaret Manning, CEO of Reading Room, said: "Our complementary expertise means we can help Hill & Knowlton continue to deliver professional, integrated campaigns for their clients".
Reading Room was recently voted as one of the UK's 10 most respected new-media agencies and includes GlaxoSmithKline, Cancer Research UK, AOL, The Disability Rights Commission and The British Library among its clients.
