LONDON – Littlewoods Football Pools has handed Liverpool-based data specialist CDMS a £1.5m contract to create direct marketing campaigns and data management.

CDMS won the business, which will last initially for 18 months, after a pitch against undisclosed competition.

The contract also includes print buying, document development, laser and digital print production, envelope, postcard and plastic wrap mailings.

Martyn Viquerat, documents services director at CDMS said: "This agreement highlights the continued partnership between the two companies."

The contract also includes data mangement, document development, laser and digital print production, envelope, postcard and plastic wrap mailings.

Andy Devlin, head of collector services for Littlewoods Football Pools, oversaw the pitch and said the decision was made on CDMS offering the best level of service and pricing structure.

The move follows CDMS winning the contract to build and host the address database for Royal Mail's universal suppression service in October, which also involved a competitive pitch.

Litllewoods is part of Sportech plc, the UK's home gaming company.
