Tiscali in deal to broadcast Eurovision Song Contest
LONDON - Internet users who have yet to switch to broadband now have a new incentive, with Tiscali signing a partnership to broadcast this year's Eurovision Song Contest live on the internet.
Access to the broadcast will be free through Tiscali or on the dedicated Eurovision website. It follows an agreement between the ISP and the European Broadcasting Union.

Tiscali is to broadcast the final on Saturday May 15. The event is being held in Istanbul and, as well as the competitors from 36 nations, there will be appearances from Cliff Richard, Olivia Newton-John, Celine Dion and ABBA.
ABBA fans have the added incentive of access to a previously unreleased video of the group, to be premiered online.
Tiscali has hosted other major music events including concerts by U2 and Sting, the MTV Europe Music Awards, and the recent 46664 charity event to commemorate Nelson Mandela's release from prison, the biggest joint web event staged to date.
