LONDON - Just four months into the 12 month-deal between Yahoo! UK and Moneysupermarket.com, the portal has agreed to renew the partnership for a third year.

The seven-figure deal comes after the recent View My Accounts arrangement between the two companies, enabling users to compare financial accounts with the best products on the market and apply for services online.

The shopping comparison site will provide the product comparison tools that sit inside Yahoo! Finance, including the personal loan, credit card load and current account comparison tools.

Sean Thweny, business development director at Moneysupermarket.com, said: "This latest agreement continues and builds upon our long-standing relationship with Yahoo! UK & Ireland, a company that we regard as a trusted partner. I believe that we will continue to drive significant revenue streams for both companies for many years to come."

He added: "This is the biggest deal for Moneysupermarket.com -- we have provided Yahoo! with impressive financial content and have proved to be one of its biggest partners."

Alison Reay, sales director for Yahoo! UK & Ireland, said: "Yahoo! offers an audience of up to 15m users, a mainly young and affluent ABC1 audience, providing an ideal environment and user base for personal finance. Through our deal with Moneysupermarket.com we are combining with established finance expertise to create a powerful and informative site."
