LONDON - The Preference Service, the provider of preference data, has signed a partnership agreement with Pureprofile, a permission-based online marketing and research channel, which allows the two companies to offer a greater range of data solutions to clients.

The Preference Service already holds preference data from more than 3m households in the UK and Pureprofile says it is aiming to create interactions with more than 400,000 UK consumers by the end of 2004. The companies claim that their combined power will give marketers a more enhanced offering.

Thomas Adalbert, managing director at The Preference Service, said: "By working together we can offer our clients a full range of off- and online data solutions -- something marketers are increasingly looking for. Furthermore, with opt-in now being the only way to contact consumers online, our partnership with Pureprofile helps us broaden our offering to clients considerably."

Pureprofile, which launched in Australia in 2001, entered the UK marketplace last year.
