Loos to talk about chequebook journalism in Edinburgh
LONDON - David Beckham's former PA, Rebecca Loos, is to appear at this year's Edinburgh TV Festival to talk about chequebook journalism, from which she is reported to have made over £500,000.
Loos, who claimed she had an affair with Beckham earlier this year, sold her story to Sky One, appeared on Channel 4's 'Richard & Judy' and, with the help of Max Clifford, is reported to have made between £500,000 and £1m in media deals.

Loos will join PR guru Clifford; head of current affairs at the BBC, Peter Horrocks; and controller of current affairs at ITV, Steve Anderson, on the panel, which will be chaired by BBC news anchor, Sian Williams.
Other highlights of the festival on August 27-29, include a Cheating on Charity seminar with: Lord Charlie Brockett, who appeared on ITV's 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' earlier this year; Jodie Marsh, from Channel 4's 'The Games'; and Julian Bellamy, head of factual entertainment at Channel 4. The seminar will examine whether charities are the ones to lose out when big reality shows make millions for producers and revitalise flagging celebrities' careers.
Veteran broadcasters, Will Wyatt, Barry Norman and Michael Hurll, will appear to discuss whether there really was a golden age of TV.
BBC director-general, Mark Thompson, will make his first major public appearance since taking the helm at the corporation and 'Pop Idol''s Mr Nasty, Simon Cowell, will be the subject of the Richard Dunn memorial interview.
The festival takes place in Edinburgh on August 27-29.
