Jolie blames ads for Tomb Raider 2 box office flop
LONDON – Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has blamed the box office failure of 'Tomb Raider: the Cradle of Life' on the way it was advertised, saying the ads were 'unsexy'.
The star, known for her bee-stung lips and her roles in 'Hackers', 'The Bone Collector' and 'Tomb Raider', said the film's marketing managers overly airbrushed images of her as action heroine Lara Croft.

Jolie, who admits she is "crazy and wild", told website TeenHollywood: "Once they had airbrushed any sexuality out of the poster that was it. Bye bye box office. Let's face it, the first one did great business."
The daughter of 'Midnight Cowboy' actor Jon Voight is currently filming 'Mr and Mrs Smith' with Brad Pitt.
She eloped with actor Billy-Bob Thornton at the age of 24. She has since split with Thornton, who is 20 years her senior. Jolie was also previously married to British actor Jonny Lee Miller.
Most recently, Jolie was reported to have found love with 'The Doors' actor Val Kilmer. The pair co-star in the upcoming film 'Alexander'.
