Cat group in male ownership drive
Cats Protection is targeting men in its latest campaign to re-home rescued cats.
The charity plans to publish a survey on men’s relationships with cats during Cats Protection Week, which runs from 11-18 September.
It hopes the publicity will encourage more men to give homes to the pets.

‘We want to emphasise that cats are no longer a feminine-only domain,’ said Cats Protection press officer Emma Osborne. ‘Men love cats as much as women.’
This Morning TV vet Dr Scott Miller is endorsing the campaign to the press.
National, hobby and animal lovers’ press will be targeted with case studies of male cat owners.
Local Cats Protection branches will use template press releases to publicise local events and highlight specific cases of homeless animals to the press.
