Maxim signs global content partnership with Vodafone
LONDON – Maxim magazine has signed a licensing deal with Vodafone that will see it provide the mobile giant with content across 30 countries worldwide.
The deal follows from the success of the Maxim Mobile site, launched on Vodafone Live! last summer, and will see Maxim provide branded wallpapers, ringtones, games, videoclips and a mobile version of the magazine.

Maxim parent company Dennis Publishing said that in conjunction with Netherlands-based Mobile Media International, the service will be rolled out in 10 countries by the end of the year including France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Australia and Sweden.
Richard Bean, international licensing director at Dennis, said: "After our hugely successful launch in the UK, it is a natural extension to take the Maxim/Vodafone Live! deal worldwide. We are delighted to extend our relationship to a global scale."
Maxim's latest ABC figure in the UK was 227,017, down 9.6% year on year and hit by the success of the men's weekly sector.
Dennis also publishes 20 other magazines including Auto Express, PC Pro, Viz and The Week. It has five titles in the US; Maxim, Maxim Goes to the Movies, Stuff, Blender and The Week.
