192.com picks Emailvision to manage email database
LONDON - Business and people-finder 192.com has chosen Emailvision to handle its email customer base of more than 2.5m names.
The appointment is designed to capitalise on 192.com's significant consumer database of users "opting in" to receive its monthly newsletter and related promotions.

The free online directory enquiries services said it appointed Emailvision because of its track record in delivering effective email management solutions for stakeholders and partners.
Jean Parodi, director of marketing for 192.com, said: "We have a massive, loyal user base, which has predominantly opted in to third-party targeted emails -- less than 0.1% have opted out overall."
The directory service said that it would soon be able to match the search subjects of 192.com users with opt-in based one-to-one promotional activities.
"With more than 100,000 searches a day on the site and loyalty to our overall emailing proposition activity extremely high, this will provide a truly valuable mapping facility in the consumer online market place," Parodi said.
