LONDON – The Daily Telegraph has secured UK film 'Wimbledon' for its next Movie Monthly promotion, to be supported by a radio campaign and interview with lead actress Kirsten Dunst.

The radio ads supporting the 'Wimbledon' deal will roll out on Classic FM, Heart and Jazz FM London from September 17 to 18.

'Wimbledon' is a romantic comedy starring 'Spider-Man' actress Kirsten Dunst as an American tennis star. It is produced by 'Four Weddings and a Funeral' and 'Notting Hill' company Working Title.

In the movie, Dunst falls in love with an unseeded British player, played by Paul Bettany, who has previously appeared in 'Master and Commander' and 'Confessions of a Dangerous Mind'.

Mark Dixon, marketing director at the Daily Telegraph, said: "The Daily Telegraph has more cinema-going readers than any other broadsheet so our Movie Monthly promotions are always popular, often achieving audiences of over 80% and 90%."

Movie Monthly is the first regular film promotion in a national newspaper. Previous free screenings include 'Love Actually', 'The Stepford Wives' and 'Touching the Void'.

To claim, readers must collect two in-paper tokens and present them to a participating UGC cinema.
