Naked poaches WPP digital chief for new online venture
LONDON - Communications agency Naked has poached Brad Fairhead, the managing partner of WPP digital agency Outrider and his deputy Tom Johnson to create a new partnership project including creative agency Fallon.
It is not clear exactly what the new partnership will entail, but Fairhead's online background suggests that Naked may be about to create its own Naked Digital division.
Creative agency Fallon is also expected to be involved in the project after holding talks with Naked last month about a joint venture aimed at bringing communications planning closer to the creative agency.

The discussions were expected to result in the launch of a communications planning business that will work as part of Fallon.
Fairhead has risen through the ranks at WPP's digital arm Outrider from a client services director to managing partner in 2002.
He was previously managing director at The Digital Edge in UK and Europe.
Rob Norman, Mediaedge:cia chairman and chairman of Outrider, said: "They're both really great people and we're sorry to see them go. We're actively recruiting for replacements though."
