Coutts Creative designs Hong Kong store for Boots

LONDON – Coutts Creative has designed the first Boots Retail International concept store in Hong Kong, the only one of its kind to contain Boots-own products.

Coutts was tasked with designing what is dubbed a "premium environment" to showcase the Boots brands, and the creative agency came up with a design inspired by beauty hall environments that contains two consultation areas for makeovers.

Nigel Stern, managing director of Coutts Creative, said: "The layout encourages browsing of the entire store and various design elements, such as merchandising and furniture, are evolutions of those at the current concessions in Hong Kong."

The new concept store is located in the International Finance Centre Mall in Hong Kong. Previously Boots products were only available as a concession through chemist chain Watsons.

Coutts Creative has worked on retail strategy and communications projects for Boots Retail International over the past two years.
