ScreenSelect teams with Papa John for winter campaign

LONDON - DVD rental firm ScreenSelect has linked up with Pizza delivery brands Papa Johns and Perfect Pizza for a winter promotional push.

As part of the deal, customers of Papa Johns and its Perfect Pizza brand will be offered a free three-week trial of ScreenSelect's service, with promotion including advertising on 12m menu leaflets and 2m pizza box toppers and drinks carriers.

Jean Michel Fabre, supply chain and marketing director of Papa Johns, said: "Screen Select and Papa Johns share the common benefits of convenience and great value while providing maximum entertainment within the comforts of the home."

Saul Klein, chief executive officer of Video Island, ScreenSelect's parent company, said: "We are delighted to be teaming up with Papa Johns, bringing together two great services, pizza delivery and online DVD rental, to create the perfect recipe for a great night in."

The promotion starts November and follows a regional promotional blitz, announced at the end of October by ScreenSelect, targeting men in London and urban areas in the south east of England. The £750,000 campaign, created by Albion, includes 48-sheet cross-track London Underground posters and radio advertising on Xfm, Virgin, Kiss, Magic and Jazz.
