Many Chelsea fans would kill for Carolyn Anderson's job, which involves overseeing all the football club's marketing activities, from matches to hotels to sponsorships.

Gallingly for the Stamford Bridge faithful, she doesn't even support Chelsea - if pushed, she admits to a liking for Tottenham Hotspur.

It may sound like she's in the wrong job, but she believes the emotional detachment gives her an objective view of the business.

The position also requires plenty of diplomacy skills, given the regular tabloid tales involving footballers. Anderson has to reassure sponsors and make sure they hear bad news before it hits the papers.
