Experian links with Royal Mail's business changes file
LONDON - Royal Mail has signed an agreement to include Experian's New Opportunities data, which is a pool of data on businesses that have recently started up or moved, in the Royal Mail Business Changes File.
The Experian data supplements existing data in the Royal Mail Business Changes File. The product enables companies to identify and target new sales leads among these businesses at a time when they are most likely to need and purchase new products, or consider new suppliers and services.

In addition to flagging up start-ups and movers, the introduction of Experian's data will enhance new sales opportunities on the database to include businesses that have received a new telephone line, have had a change of ownership, are opening a new branch or have amended their Yell classification and so will appear for the first time under a new classification in the Yellow Pages directory.
Richard Lloyd, director of B2B Marketing at Experian, said: "Because the data we are providing has higher intrinsic value, providing thousands of new leads and up-to-date opportunities to businesses every month, we are enabling businesses to make the most out of their direct marketing activity."
Experian is also an official licensed distributor of the Business Changes File, which is available through its Experian Intact data cleansing service.
