ITV offers Teletext across its range of digital channels
LONDON – ITV has signed a 10-year deal with Teletext to run its text services across the ITV digital portfolio from summer 2005.
The service, Teletext on ITV, will be made available on ITV1, ITV2, ITV3 and the ITV News Channel on digital satellite and digital terrestrial from early summer 2005.
The service will include news, sport, weather, travel, Lottery results and entertainment features. It will be of better quality than the analogue Teletext service, with full-colour pages, easy-to-read fonts, faster navigation and the ability to read quarter screen format while scrolling through content.

Mick Desmond, chief executive of ITV, said: "ITV is committed to developing and enriching its digital offering and this new service adds depth and value for viewers."
