sum.
Forrester says it plans to extend Fletcher’s Internet AdWatch and
Internet User Monitor services ’into broader European marketplaces’.
William Reeve and Neil Bradford, who founded Fletcher in 1997, will
remain at the helm of the research company, which becomes a wholly-owned
subsidiary of Forrester Research.
Reeve said Forrester’s infrastructure would allow Fletcher to enhance
its position in the UK, while accelerating its move into Europe.
’Additionally, Forrester intends to use our knowledge of the European
internet landscape to help realise its growth strategy,’ he added.
Forrester chairman George Colony described Fletcher as the premier UK
internet research firm. He added that the merged entity aimed to become
’the leading provider of e-commerce research in Europe’.
Fletcher’s Internet AdWatch delivers the only UK web advertising
monitoring service, while Forrester specialises in analysing the impact
of technology on business, consumers and society.
