House Beautiful closes gap on ABC leader Ideal Home
LONDON - Latest ABC figures have revealed that House Beautiful is catching up with Ideal Home as The National Magazine Company and IPC Media battle it out for first place in the market.
IPC's Ideal Home maintained its lead, selling 260,439 copies, but it was down 4% for the period and down 5.1% year on year. House Beautiful managed a 1.7% increase in the past six months and was up 18.3% on the year to 215,360 copies.

The period's worst performer was Highbury House's Real Homes Magazine, down 20.4% on the period and down 44.8% year on year to 72,017 copies.
BBC Good Homes showed one of the largest increases of 8.2% for the period and a 22.2% year-on-year rise to 129,778.
Wallpaper, published by IPC, was the only magazine to keep its figures stable with no change per centage change from the previous year at 107,804 - although it was in fact 10 copies down, too small a move to register.
Sister title BBC Homes & Antiques showed a 4.9% increase period on period, but was down 14.8% year on year with a circulation of 120,141 copies.
Country Living remained in the top three with 185,136 readers, up 3.2% for the period and 6.1% on the year.
House & Home, though second to last on the table, showed the largest sales increase of 23.6% year on year to 26,007 copies.
