Millward Brown expands presence in Eastern Europe with Daedalus

LONDON - WPP Group-owned Millward Brown is expanding its operations in Eastern Europe by appointing Romanian market research company Daedalus Consulting as its licencee.

With its central office in Bucharest and six regional branches throughout Romania, Daedalus works for local and global clients across a broad range of industries, including media, IT, finance, telecoms, industrial goods and pharmaceuticals.

Daedalus was chosen as WPP's preferred partner because it provided qualitative, quantitative and media consultancy research, which will work alongside Millward Brown companies in the region.

Petra Prusova, development director Millward Brown Central and Eastern Europe, said: "Millward Brown has been working with international clients in Romania for several years and these clients will benefit greatly from our increased presence there.

"Likewise local candidates will now have access to Millward Brown's tools and approaches."
