Direct news: TfL tailors email travel updates

Marketing 02-Mar-05, 15:09

Transport for London (TfL) is launching a personalised email service that will warn passengers of disruption on the network.

The Travel Updates service will send regular alerts to thousands of customers on TfL's database, informing them of planned work on the network before it happens. The alerts will flag up problems at specific stations and routes that the recipients use.

TfL is planning a series of refurbishments to the London Underground network over the next 20 years.

Chemistry has created a poster campaign to promote the service and encourage commuters to register for it via the TfL website.
