Archibald Ingall Stretton withdraws from £3m UIA insurance review
LONDON – The £3m account for mutual insurance company UIA is up for grabs after incumbent agency Archibald Ingall Stretton declined to repitch.
UIA decided to review the account after it rearranged its internal structure and consolidated its marketing and customer management departments under marketing director Ian Cracknell.
It has appointed Agency Insight to handle the review. AIS was invited to repitch, but declined to extend its three-year relationship with UIA.

Damian Reilly, head of marketing at UIA, said: "Our relationship with AIS has been fruitful and it has supported UIA through a key period of development. However, the organisational restructure and the expanded remit of our marketing and communications plan provides a logical time for us to explore the market."
UIA's insurance products are available throughout the UK via its affinity partnerships with bodies including five of the largest trades union in the UK, and other not-for-profit organisations.
Jon Ingall, managing partner at AIS, said: "We are extremely proud of the work that we have produced with UIA over the last three years and leave the brand a great deal stronger than we found it."
