Marsden to lead commercial development of IPC's music and men's mags
LONDON – IPC Ignite! has restructured its advertising team to focus on selling a range of commercial opportunities across its magazines, such as advertorials, sponsorship, digital media and live events, in addition to advertising.
The change affects properties including Nuts, NME, NME.com, Loaded, Loaded Fashion and Uncut.
The job of group ad director Karl Marsden has been expanded to group commercial director to reflect the role he has taken in diversifying IPC Ignite!'s commercial activities. Marsden is also involved in RSVP, the cross-media alliance between IPC, Viacom and Capital Radio Group.

Several other changes to the team include the Nuts ad manager Sam Finlay's promotion to display ad director across the Ignite! portfolio.
Andrew Sanders, head of digital sales, has been promoted to director of media solutions, the team responsible for creating bespoke advertising for clients.
Oliver Scull, previously ad manager for Loaded, is now ad manager for Loaded and Uncut. Andrew Goldsmith, previously deputy ad manager for Nuts, steps up to the role of ad manager for Nuts and NME.
