BHF to hold pitch for direct brief

Marketing 31-Mar-05, 10:27

The British Heart Foundation (BHF) has put its direct marketing business, which is currently handled by EHS Brann, out to pitch.

The charity, which is also reviewing its £7m advertising account with Euro RSCG London, wants to recruit partner advertising and direct agencies (Marketing, 9 March).

The review was called earlier this month despite the success of its 'Give up before you clog up campaign', featuring images of fat dripping from cigarettes.

The charity has decided it may need to work with other agencies to take the camp-aign further.

The pitch, being handled by the AAR, will see shortlisted agencies vie with Euro RSCG and EHS Brann, with a result due next month.

The BHF's next anti-smoking drive will focus on the dangers of passive smoking.
