KFC adds Zinger salad to menu
KFC is aiming to step up competition against food chains such as Pret A Manger during the lunchtime rush by extending its salad range.
The fast-food giant is to launch the Zinger Crunch Salad across its 673 outlets later this month.
The product, which is being positioned as a tasty alternative to standard salads, will be supported by a multimillion-pound TV and print campaign through Bartle Bogle Hegarty.

Claire Harrison-Church, KFC's GB marketing director, said the salad was intended to offer 'more choice by providing a spicier and more indulgent lunch'. Ingredients will include tortilla chips, 'zinger' chicken and cheese.
KFC is also adding Rice Bowls to its menu permanently after a trial last year.
