Mudslinging politicians star in viral game pushing Radio 1's Newsbeat
LONDON – Randommedia has created an online game for BBC Radio 1's 'Newsbeat' giving visitors the chance to splat the men in suits in a light-hearted dig at party politics.
The game 'Political Mudslinging' was created to provide some light relief as part of the station's election coverage, giving listeners easy to understand information about the political process.

The website offers users the chance to find out what mudslinging actually is -- to dirty your opponent with negative campaigning -- with links to useful information, message boards, interviews with politicians and news from the main BBC website.
The digital agency won the pitch earlier in the year and has since produced viral internet gaming campaigns for BBC Three and online animation series 'Taggerz' for BBC 1Xtra.
The game offers users the chance of choosing which party to support and attempting to hit as many of the other politicians with mud as they can within the timescale, avoiding hitting members of their own party, to score the best score possible.
Tom Brady, account manager at Randommedia, said: "We were convinced that the concept was strong enough to create a literal mud-slinging game -- the challenge was then to create a compelling gameplay and visual style within the limited budget constraints.
"Crucially with a game like this it was essential for us to launch at just the right time to capture the imagination of the voting public."
