TRG Strata appointed to manage Sportsshoes Unlimited list

LONDON – TRG Strata, the REaD Group's list and insert management consultancy, has been appointed by retail outlet Sportsshoes Unlimited to manage and sell its 300,000-record list.

Individuals on the database are typically male professionals, ABC1 and over 40 years of age, who are time poor and responsive to direct offers.

Chris Grey, managing director for TRG Strata, said: "This growing list would be a fantastic tool for companies offering internet shopping, mail order shopping, credit cards or loans."

TRG said that this group typically spends over £50 in a single transaction and regularly use credit cards, making them appealing to direct marketers and internet stores alike. All of those included in the database have opted to receive information from third parties.

"The predominantly ABC1 base has a high disposable income and is known to be open to direct mail and insert companies, having been recruited by Sportshoes Unlimited via these channels," Grey said.

The typical base rental is £110 per 1,000.
