Dog star of More Th>n ads passes away after four years in role
LONDON - The four-legged star who brought to life the character of Lucky in More Th>n's advertising campaigns has passed away after a short battle with cancer.
Benson, part Airdale, part Collie, died aged 12 years after four years and 20 TV spots as Lucky, created by CCHM:Ping.
Benson was originally a rescue dog but rose to fame for his "unique star quality" and had made regular made guest appearances at More Th>n's events. He also featured in the film '102 Dalmations'.

Mike Tildesley, marketing director at More Th>n, said: "Benson brought real humour to the role of Lucky and he will be truly missed by all of us at More Th>n.
"Not only was he a professional acting dog, but he was unusual in that he was also a much-loved family pet. We are providing every support to his family at this sad time."
More Th>n has decided to keep the memory of Lucky alive with a replacement dog to fill the role and is seeking to find a suitable replacement to be trained and filmed during the summer.
The group is also making a donation to a dog re-homing charity in memory of Benson as well as a memorial to be presented to Benson's owners.
