Kelkoo launches UK fashion category
Shopping web site Kelkoo has launched a new UK fashion category that allows women to search for clothes and matching accessories.
The new service, which Kelkoo claims offers more than 150 brands, will be extended to shoes and men's fashion by the summer. It includes filters at the top of the site and drop-down menus to allow users to look for items by size or colour.

Kelkoo said research showed that clothing size was cited by women as one of the main customer service issues when looking for new clothes.
The service will list specialist retailers, including maternity wear, and brands like Long Tall Sally, which cater for specific sizes.
Dorothea Arndt, Kelkoo's director of search and distribution, said: "Consumer research found that online fashion had a role to play - that high streets can't fulfil - to let women find fuss-free fashion quickly. There was a market opportunity and demand to fulfil that online."
Kelkoo found women spend 16 per cent more time online than they did a year ago, based on the 2004 European Online Retail Consumer survey, which showed that, on average, they spent 124 euros (£85) on their last online clothing purchase.
Further findings from Jupiter Research show sales of apparel will overtake PCs as the largest online retail category in 2009, worth $13.3 billion in the US.
