Toyota plots web activity for Aygo
Toyota is planning a heavyweight digital marketing push behind the launch of Aygo, its first micro car, which will hit the forecourts at the start of July.
Toyota is increasing the amount of budget it normally allocates to online for the launch of the model, which is aimed at young urbanites.
It has struck a deal with Yahoo! UK to create an online music festival guide that will be promoted across Yahoo! and will provide the latest details on all the major festivals. Aygo will benefit from blanket exposure across Yahoo! ahead of its launch.

Toyota has also developed a dedicated website for the model, www.aygo.co.uk.
A pan-European marketing campaign is planned to support the launch. The advertising strategy is being handled by Clemmow Hornby Inge.
