Tomboy Films signs three new directors
The commercials production company Tomboy Films has made three new signings, bringing its roster of directors to a total of 19.
The UK film director Mike Figgis, Pawel Pawlikowski, the director of the film My Summer of Love, and Sheree Folkson, the director of the recent BBC series Casanova, have all joined the company for commercials representation in the past week.

Figgis is best known for his 1995 film Leaving Las Vegas, which starred Nicholas Cage, and his 2000 experimental feature Timecode, which blended action from four video cameras in real-time. His ad credits include Volkswagen Passat "family man" for DDB London and Lynx "veil" for Bartle Bogle Hegarty.
He is currently in production on a feature, Guilty Pleasures, for New Line.
Pawlikowski, a director with a documentary background, recently won the Best British Film award at the Baftas for My Summer of Love. He has yet to direct an ad.
Folkson has a long TV directing CV. She was previously represented for commercials by Upstart, and directed the "family" spot for Bertolli Olive Oil through BBH.
Frances Silor, the joint managing director of Tomboy, said: "We are absolutely delighted to have such high-calibre directors joining us."
