Web phone firm set for UK debut
Vonage, a US internet telephony company, is planning a multimillion-pound advertising drive to establish its brand in the UK.
The firm, which has more than 700,000 customers in the US, has appointed WCRS and Media Contacts to work on its launch strategy.
According to marketing director Vincent Potier, advertising will initially be online, before rolling out to other media later this year.

The service will be priced £9.99 a month. It will offer free fixed-line phone calls over the internet, as well as discounted calls abroad.
The company has signed its first distribution deal with Staples and will sell its kits in more than 100 stores nationwide.
