Celebrity Love Island getting more web searches than Big Brother
LONDON - ITV's 'Celebrity Love Island' may have been described as the worst reality TV show ever, but it is beating 'Big Brother' in the popularity stakes with more people logging on to find out gossip from the show.
According to the latest data from online competitive intelligence agency, Hitwise, 'Celebrity Love Island' is generating 0.02% of all online searches while Channel 4's 'Big Brother' is lagging behind with 0.008%.

The 'Celebrity Love Island' website www.celebrityloveisland.tv is the highest ranked TV show website after 'EastEnders'.
Nurse turned glamour model Abi Titmuss, one of the 'Celebrity Love Island' contestants, is now the most-searched-for personality in the show, beating Kylie Minogue and Hollywood star Orlando Bloom.
The good news for ITV comes as 'Celebrity Love Island' has been described as the worst reality TV show ever by Daily Mirror TV critic Jim Shelley, who dedicated a double-page spread to the 12 reasons why.
'Celebrity Love Island' has also so far failed to make an impression on the ratings front , slumping to a low of 2m last Saturday night but mostly hovering around the 4m mark since its launch.
ITV bosses were said to be considering axing the show or pulling it from its primetime slot last week but after receiving 4.2m viewers last night, 100,000 more than the night before, this now seems unlikely.
