Carat poaches global research head from ZenithOptimedia
LONDON - Carat International has appointed Anthony Jones from ZenithOptimedia Worldwide as head of insight, working with global clients including Vodafone, Renault and Philips.
The appointment follows the departure of Phil Gullen, who has left to pursue other business interests after 13 years at Carat.
Jones was the worldwide research director at ZenithOptimedia Worldwide, where he spent more than seven years.

He joins Carat in mid-July and will report to Susannah Outfin, Carat International CEO.
"Hiring someone of Anthony's calibre and experience is an indication of our commitment to capitalise on and develop the market-leading research products and services already available to our clients," Outfin said.
Prior to his time at ZenithOptimedia, Jones worked at CIA, setting up CIA MediaLab, and running the Walkers Crisps account.
"I am tremendously excited by the opportunity to step into Phil's shoes. Carat has always had an excellent research reputation and I'm really looking forward to adding my ideas and experience to the business," Jones said.
