WWAV Rapp Collins Edinburgh hires Murphy brothers
LONDON - WWAV Rapp Collins Group has hired the former Vallance Carruthers Coleman Priest creative directors Peter Murphy and his brother Paul Murphy to fill the top creative slot at its Edinburgh office.
The team joins the group after a 12-month spell working as freelances. They replace Caroline Cooper, who left to pursue a freelance career.
The Murphy brothers were the first creative team hired by VCCP, in 2002. They worked on the agency's flagship O2 account, the relaunch of LBC and the launch of ING Direct.

Before VCCP, the brothers worked at D'Arcy Detroit. However, they gained direct marketing credentials during a spell at IMP, now called Arc, where they worked on clients including Fiat, Southern Comfort and Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Paul Murphy said: "The move gives us the chance to drive forward the creative product of an agency already renowned for producing award-winning work.
"Our enthusiasm for the big idea is ideally suited to the WWAV Edinburgh client list and we look forward to consolidating its position as Scotland's leading exponent of direct marketing."
