Voluntary Sector: British Legion in magazine launch
The Royal British Legion has launched a magazine to raise its profile and showcase the work done by its members.
The inaugural edition of the biennial Forward has articles by Libby Purves, Betty Boothroyd, Melvyn Bragg, Jeremy Clarkson and Sir Steve Redgrave.
Director of corporate comms Stuart Gendall said the charity's research had shown 'many people misunderstand what the legion does' and the magazine would be aimed at members and the public.

'By raising awareness and understanding we can encourage readers to spread the word, get involved and contribute to the ongoing success of our work,' Gendall added.
