Search, he will report to Dominique Vidal, regional vice-president and managing director of Yahoo! Europe, while as regional vice president and managing director of Overture Europe, Taylor will report to Brian Steel, Overture's international president.
Vidal said: "The creation of this new role marks an important step towards the ongoing synergy of Overture and Yahoo! Search in Europe and reflects Yahoo!'s ongoing commitment to introducing the next generation of search technology and products for advertisers, publishers and users alike."
Brian Steel, Overture international president, said: "In his two years with Overture Europe, Stephen has played a key role in driving the organisation's phenomenal growth and, more recently, in managing the integration with Yahoo! Europe. He is ideally suited for this combined role."
