Trinity Mirror acquires new homes website
LONDON – Trinity Mirror has acquired new homes website smartnewhomes.com for £11.3m from Smart Media Services.
Smartnewhomes.com is the UK's leading internet marketing portal for new-build homes.
Trinity Mirror will initially pay Smart Media Services £11.3m and will make a deferred payment based on future earnings capped at £5.3m.

Smartnewhomes.com represent over 80% of all new homes on the market with the largest database of individual new homes on the online.
Its site carries as many as 140,000 new homes from over 4,000 developments online, with information from more than 120 homebuilders.
Based in Wrexham, the company has a staff of 20 people and currently attracts over 400,000 visits a month.
The site has invested in content partnerships with most of the major internet portals and service providers such as Freeserve, Tiscali, Channel 4 and Ask Jeeves.
