Aegis makes non-executive board appointment

LONDON - Aegis Group has appointed human resources expert Lorraine Trainer as a non-executive board director with immediate effect serving on the remuneration and nominations committee.

Trainer has wide experience in human resources and has held senior management positions at Coutts NatWest Group, where she was director of human resources; London Stock Exchange, head of human resources; and Citibank.

Lord Sharman, chairman of Aegis, said: "I am pleased that Lorraine has agreed to join the group board. Lorraine's broad industry experience and her excellent background in human resources will prove an important addition to our remuneration and nominations committee."
